  • Rachelle Babcock

    Rachelle received her Bachelors of Science in Management from Indiana University of PA. While Rachelle continued her Master's degree in Education she started her career in early childhood education as an preschool teacher and school age teacher. After servicing as a teacher in the classroom Rachelle then became a before and after school director working with children in grades K-3. Rachelle then went on to become a director of a center serving children 6 weeks to 12 years, she has 5 plus years as a director of a child care center. Rachelle also has served as an education chair on a non-profit that services children with special needs. Rachelle has earned her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Child Development. Her dissertation was focused on improving communication between teachers and families. In addition, Rachelle has taught Early Childhood Education and Child Development classes at the local community college.

  • Kate Simeone

    Kate graduated from John Carroll University in May of 2008 and started here at KinderCare that summer. She worked in the School Age classroom before substitute teaching for local school districts that fall. Kate then returned to KinderCare and taught the prekindergarten classroom for the remainder of the school year. In September of 2009, Kate accepted the role of Learning Adventures teacher at the center where she taught the Learning Adventures programs including Phonics, Reading, Math, and Spanish. Kate was promoted to Program Specialist and then Assistant Director in 2012 where she is excited to continue to grow in the field of early childhood education. Kate would like to someday be a Center Director for KinderCare.

  • Ms. Elizabeth Chadman

    Ms. Liz started working with KinderCare in the fall of 2011 where she was a preschool teacher at the Mt. Lebanon center. She enjoyed her time in the preschool room where the children's eagerness to learn and ability to make connections amazed her daily. Ms.Liz then transferred to the Ross Park KinderCare where she became the Learning Adventures teacher. Her ability to highlight strengths in each one of her students makes them successful in their classrooms. Ms. Liz engages her students through small group instruction in the areas of math and phonics with creative and individualized instruction. Working with classroom teachers and parents, Ms. Liz's main concern is making sure her student's learn to the best of their ability and become lifelong learners. Sit in on one of Ms. Liz's classes and you will see an environment focusing on hands-on activities, rich in literacy, and most importantly full of smiles and laughter.

  • Ms. Kathy

    Almost nine years ago, Ms. Kathy started at the Downtown KinderCare center. She was hired as a teacher in the two-year-old classroom and then quickly moved to the Preschool classroom. After being the lead teacher in the Preschool classroom, Ms. Kathy became a Program Specialist at the center. After two and a half years downtown, Ms. Kathy transferred to the North Hills KinderCare where she continued to assist the management team. For the past three years Ms. Kathy has been a Preschool teacher at the center, where she feels she has found her home. She enjoys the curriculum themes and activities and loves that her job allows her to showcase her creative abilities and ideas within the classroom. Ms. Kathy enjoys creating and enhancing the Preschool program and seeing the children's excitement over the special activity areas around the room. She loves to experiment, create, and get messy! In 2012 Ms. Kathy won the KinderCare Education Early Childhood Educator Award! We are very proud to have Ms. Kathy as part of our team.

  • Mr. Mike

    Mr. Mike has been working at KinderCare for 12 years. He worked for the Downtown KinderCare center for 10 years and has been at the North Hills center for two years and counting. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Art Education. In Mr. Mike's classroom you can always see and hear the things that the children are learning. It might be a project that they are working on together as a class, or it might be a discussion they are having at circle time where the children are always encouraged to explore new thoughts and ideas. Whatever they are engaged in, they are always having fun and learning!
