Jennifer Rees has been with KinderCare since 1997. She first joined the center as a part time teacher in the discovery preschool class. She also worked in a prekindergarten and first grade classroom. From there, she became the center's Assistant Director before being promoted to Center Director in 2002. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in 1999 at the University of Pittsburgh and completed her teacher certification in 2000 for children Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Melissa is the Assistant Center Director and has been with the Downtown KinderCare since 1994. She came to KinderCare after working as a nanny in New York as she realized that working in a group setting would be more rewarding.
Ms. Shanna started her Early Childhood Education experience in 2004 when she attended the community college of Allegheny County to study Child and Family Studies. She then went on to teach at another childcare center for two years before finally coming to our center.
I am Ms. Amy. I have been teaching at KinderCare since 1995. My favorite children’s book is <u>The Very Hungry Caterpillar</u>. My favorite thing about teaching is knowing that each child will learn something from me. My biggest adventure was winning the jackpot at the Rivers Casino. Children love being in my classroom because I help them interact with each other and learn from each other.
